CARE

Our Gold Vermeil is plated with 2.5-3 microns of 18k Gold, over a Sterling Silver base. 

This is up to 6x thicker than typical Gold plating, which is 0.5 microns known as "flash" plating. 

We chose to use the Vermeil method which is a mid-18th century French technique, for its longer lasting qualities, perfect for everyday wear.

What is our PVD finish? →

Our standard PVD finish is built for jewellery that doesn’t need to be treated delicately. Using Physical Vapour Deposition, colour is bonded directly to the stainless steel under high heat and vacuum, creating a finish far more durable than conventional plating.
A protective e-coating adds another layer of defence against water, tarnishing and everyday wear.
The result? A smooth, hard-wearing finish designed for the shower, gym, long days, summer heat and everything in between. Less taking it off. More actually wearing it.
